“Advanced” techniques simply refers to the “actual” techniques of painting with oils. The term “advanced” is used to differentiate actual technique from all of the harmful misconceptions that exist today.

Your best answer is found amongst the known artists whose work remains and unfortunately they don't. JMW Turner is by far the greatest exponent of all 12 techniques. Monet used them, too, but in very different combinations.
